Pizza Sauce

Ingredients

Yields 3 cups

  •  1 can (28 wt oz)             San Marzano Tomatoes

  • 1 tsp                                  Kosher Salt

  • ½ tsp                                  Black Pepper

  • 2 tsp                                  Sugar

  • ½ tsp                                  Dried Oregano

  • 2 tsp                                  Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Method

  1. Place tomatoes in a mixing bowl. Cush by hand, with a masher, or an immersion blender.

  2. Add salt, pepper, sugar, oregano, and olive oil. Mix well.

  3. Transfer to a sauce pot and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for 4 minutes to thicken sauce.

  4. Cool completely before using on pizza.
