Pizza Sauce
Ingredients
Yields 3 cups
1 can (28 wt oz) San Marzano Tomatoes
1 tsp Kosher Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper
2 tsp Sugar
½ tsp Dried Oregano
2 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Method
Place tomatoes in a mixing bowl. Cush by hand, with a masher, or an immersion blender.
Add salt, pepper, sugar, oregano, and olive oil. Mix well.
Transfer to a sauce pot and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for 4 minutes to thicken sauce.
Cool completely before using on pizza.
