Bouquet Garnis

Ingredients

Yield - 1 bouquet will flavor 1 gallon of stock, soup, or stew

  • 2–3 each leek halves or 2 pieces celery stalk

  • 1 sprig thyme

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 4 parsley stems

Method

  1. Stack the herbs together in a bundle, using the celery or leek to hold everything together. 

  2. Tie the butcher twine around the bundle leaving a long end to remove it from the stock.
